Future Projects
I always have a long list of things I want to make. I also have a lot of things half started.
I liked this
photo I took of a bee and wanted to create something with it. I thought I would embroider on top of a
painted yellow background but I still haven’t got round to creating the design.
It is sitting in my “started pile” or should I say “to be continued pile”.
This is another project I
started with my partner. Who knew how long it would take to completely sand a cabinet? Well we didn’t, and it has taken umpteen shifts and we still need to put it back
together again and varnish it!
Something that
I would really like to try is upcycling a side table. I purchased this
wallpaper to try it sometime, but I will need to research how to do it properly
and watch a few YouTube videos I think, before tackling it!
A lady known as “Little Bird Upcycling” does this
brilliantly. She does restoration and upholstery and is based in Paisley.
You can check out more of her work on Facebook or Instagram.
